Welcome to the City of St. Robert's Kickin' It Route 66 Barbecue Challenge webpage.  This will be an informational page for our upcoming BBQ event that is normally scheduled to take place the fourth weekend in March each year.


This year our event is scheduled for March 22, 2024 thru March 24, 2024 at the St. Robert Community Center located at 114 J.H. Williamson Jr. Drive, in St. Robert, MO.  This year we have planned a "DOUBLE POINTS" event with two events in one weekend along with a One Meat - Ribs competition on Saturday night. We would love for you to join us for this competition.

BBQ Event Schedule


Contest 1 (all 4 meat categories):  Friday to Saturday; turn in starts at 12 PM on Saturday

One Meat- Ribs Contest: Saturday with turn in tentatively schedule for 6 PM (THIS EVENT IS SPONSORED BY AQUA SPARTAN , LLC)

Contest 2 (all 4 meat categories): Saturday to Sunday; turn in starts at 12 PM on Sunday

BBQ Site Amenities Include:

30' x 40' Lot Space; Water; Electric; Ice, tickets for 2-10 lb bags; Breakfast (Saturday and Sunday Mornings); Access to an Indoor Pool, Showers, & Restrooms; Flat Gravel Location; Easy Access to Walmart and Starbucks; Hotel Discounts Available Or Stay Onsite  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Night (RV Sites are First Come-First Serve)

To Get Registered for the Event

Fees for entry in EACH daily competition is $200 (if registered before Jan. 1, 2024) OR $225 (if registered after Jan. 1, 2024); NO REFUND AFTER FEB. 1, 2024; Registration Fee for the One Meat - Ribs Contest is $75. Payment MUST accompany registration.

 Saturday, 3/23/24: Kids Activities & Games; 11 AM at the Ball Field

Saturday, 3/23/24: Cornhole Tournament; 11 AM Start in the Stock Barns

Saturday & Sunday: Silent Auction at the Community Center
