| City Government

The City elected officials consists of a Mayor, eight Aldermen (two for
each of the four wards) and a Municipal Judge. The Mayor, Aldermen and Judge
serve two-year terms. The City appointed officials are comprised of a City
Administrator, Assistant City Administrator, City Attorney, City Clerk, Finance Officer,
Police Chief, Assistant Police Chief, and Fire Chief. Persons holding these
positions are appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.
