The
St. Robert Fire Department has a Cadet Program for boys and girls ages
15-18 years of age. The cadet program is designed to have cadets
assist fire fighters with tasks needed on a fire scene or other calls
the Fire Department responds to.
As a Cadet Fire Fighter you
will have the same opportunities to attend training as our Fire
Fighters. You will learn valuable skills and will become as
asset to the department. Listed below are some areas Cadets train in:
Fire Prevention, Fire Safety, Fire Suppression, First Aid, and CPR.
To become a cadet you must be on good physical condition, have passing
grades on school, parents permission, and be willing to attend
training classes. Once you turn 18, with the skills you have
learned you will be able to become a fire fighter and take more
advanced training.
If you are interested in becoming a cadet call the St. Robert Fire
Department at 573-451-2000 ext. 3100 or send an e-mail to fire@saintrobert.com
