St. Robert Fire Department - Recruitment  Information

Saint Robert Fire Department Recruitment Info:

     If it wasn't for volunteers, three fourths of the

United States would be without adequate fire protection;

including, the community we live in.

     Few jobs offer the challenges and rewards that

a volunteer fire, rescue, and emergency service offers,

but this business is not for everyone.  You need courage,

dedication, and willingness to learn new skills.  Plus

you need the ability to be able to conquer new

and diverse challenges.

     As a volunteer you must meet certain requirements

to be accepted.  Then you will be trained to react with

confidence to all sorts of emergency situations;

including, childbirths, hazardous waste spills, and fires.
The work is not all that glamorous either, it can be hot,

sweaty, strenuous, dirty and often in hazardous conditions.

But then the rewards are incredible, that is if you consider

respect and appreciation rewards enough.  Saving a

neighbor's home from burning to the ground, saving

a child from injury or possible death, or acting with

courage in the face of danger.  These are the volunteer's

rewards of personal satisfaction.

     So, if you have the strong desire to help your community

and neighbors, and you believe that you have what it

takes to meet the challenges, then stop be the St. Robert

fire and Rescue and talk to us.  We are located at 117

Plattner Ave, St. Robert, MO 65584.
