Elected Officials
George Sanders was first elected to city office on April 7, 1992 as Alderman for Ward IV. As an Alderman, he served 11 years as Mayor Pro Tem and as chairman of various committees including: Emergency Services, Wage and Finance, Planning and Zoning, and Board of Adjustment. In April 2005, he elected as Mayor of the City of St. Robert. As Mayor he has set a high priority on the improvement of the quality of life for the residents and visitor of the city. In 2009, Mayor Sanders retired from civilian service at Fort Leonard Wood and now serves the city of St. Robert full time. Mayor Sanders current term expires April 2, 2013.
Alderman James Phillips

Mr. Phillips was first elected to the position on April 5, 2011 He currently serves as member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Taxi Committee, and the Wage and Finance Committee. His current term expires on April 2, 2013.

Larry Jackson was appointed as Alderman for Ward 1 on February 7, 2011. He currently serves as a member of the Emergency Services Committee, Public Works Committee, Taxi Committee and Parks and Recreation Committee. His term expires on April 3, 2012.

Butchy Newkirk was first appointed as Alderman for Ward 2 on December 6, 2010. Mrs. Newkirk was first elected to the position on April 5, 2011. She currently serves on the Taxi Committee, Public Works Committee and as the Co-Chariman of the Parks & Recreation Committee. Her term expires on April 2, 2013.

Mr. Shaw currently serves as Chairman of the Public Works Committe, and the Taxi Committee, as a member of the Wage & Finance Committee and as a city representative to the Pulaski County Growth Alliance and Pulaski County IDA Board.
