  • Are there any laws regulating the burning of leaves or brush in the city limits?

The burning of leaves or brush can only be done with the approval of the Fire Chief.  He also has the authority to issue a burning ban during dry periods, when burning could be very dangerous.

  • What  if I have a complaint against police services or a police official?

If you have a problem or comment about one of the above, please contact the Chief of Police.  If you can not get get in touch with the Asst. Chief, please leave a message with the police dispatcher  and they will forward the message to the Chief's office.

  • What phone number should I use to call the police department?

In emergencies always dial 911.

  • Where can I pay parking, ordinance, and traffic citations?

All citations can be paid at the St. Robert Police Department Mon-Fri 5p.m. to 8a.m., 194 Eastlawn Avenue or at the St. Robert Municipal Center  in the City Collector's Office from Mon-Fri, 8.am - 5p.m.

  • If I call for police services, can I remain anonymous?

Yes, you may remain anonymous.  You may tell us if you would like, but it is not required.

  • What if have other questions referring to the city?
 
 

Our business phone number is 573-336-4700 or you can fax us at 573-336-2788. Questions relating to other city matters can be answered at the St. Robert City Hall during regular business hours from 8a.m.-5p.m or by calling 573-451-2000, extension 1000.

 

  • Will the police check my house if I leave town?

Yes, we offer those services to the people of our community.  Our officers will check your house periodically until you return home.  Just stop by the police department and ask one of the dispatchers for a form to fill out.

  • What if I need a copy of a police report?

 

 

Copies of police reports can be picked up at the St. Robert Police Dept.  A copy will cost $2.00, and an additional charge of $0.25  per page will be added to it if it exceeds five pages.

 

  • What do I do if I am a victim of crime?

 

 

If you are a victim of crime report it to the police department immediately, the longer that you wait the harder that it is to solve.  We are generally called to the crime scene, but you may come to the police department to report it at any time, preferably as  soon as possible.
