Congratulations to Nathan Reck, our December 2025 Employee of the Month for the City of St. Robert!

Nathan has been a vital member of our Electrical Department for 18 years, beginning his career with the City on September 24, 2007. Not long after, he enrolled in the Missouri Joint Municipal Utility Commission’s four-year, 17-subject apprenticeship program, which he completed in December 2014 with an outstanding average score of 92. Since then, Nathan has earned numerous advanced certifications, including Digger Derrick Operator, Qualified Climber, and Three-Phase Overhead Lineworker, among others.

In January 2011, when the City’s electrical department was temporarily left without other linemen, Nathan stood tall as the only one remaining. He kept the City's electrical system up and running on his own until new team members were brought on board. That kind of dedication, resilience, and commitment is what makes him truly exceptional.

Nathan's high ethical standards, deep technical knowledge, and calm leadership make him an outstanding mentor and a trusted team member. His contributions to the City have been felt every day for nearly two decades — and we’re incredibly proud to recognize him for all he does.
