Stormwater project

The City of St. Robert is beginning improvements to the Hickory Valley stormwater system, with construction near the intersection of Hickory Valley Road and Birch Tree Circle.

This project is expected to take approximately four to six weeks to complete, weather permitting. Most construction will take place along the roadway shoulder; however, boring and trenching operations across Birch Tree Circle are scheduled to begin on or about January 19, 2026.

During this phase of the project, Hickory Valley Road and Birch Tree Circle may be reduced to one lane at times, particularly just north and east of the intersection. Temporary lane restrictions should be expected, but the intersection will remain open to traffic throughout the project.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the work zone and allow extra time if needed. We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we complete this important infrastructure improvement.
