Last week, the City of St. Robert officially proclaimed February 9–15, 2026, as Ronald McDonald House Week in our community in support of the 2026 Share a Heart Campaign.
Springfield’s two Ronald McDonald House programs, located near Cox South Hospital and Mercy Kids, provide a home away from home for families of seriously ill or injured children who must travel far for medical care. These programs have supported 520 Pulaski County families, including 87 families from St. Robert, offering comfort, stability, and hope during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Our Board of Aldermen and city staff were proud to support this effort through our own Share a Heart donations. I was also honored to travel to Springfield to personally present the proclamation and thank the Ronald McDonald House leadership for the incredible care they continue to provide to families from our community.
This week, we encourage everyone to Share a Heart by stopping by a local McDonald’s and purchasing a $1, $5, or $20 heart. Every dollar goes directly to support these two Ronald McDonald House programs and the families they serve. As an added bonus, those who share their heart on social media will be entered to win a $250 Mastercard gift card.
It’s a simple way to make a meaningful difference. Thank you, St. Robert, for always stepping up with compassion and generosity.
