Congratulations to Chris Dumas, our March 2026 Employee of the Month for the City of St. Robert.
Chris serves as our Shop Supervisor Mechanic in the Public Works Department and has quickly become an essential part of our operations. Since joining the City, he has brought not only technical expertise, but also leadership, sound judgment, and a strong sense of responsibility to the role.
With more than 25 years of prior experience, Chris stepped up when the previous mechanic departed and assumed the responsibilities of Head Mechanic without hesitation. From routine maintenance to complex diagnostics, recalls, vendor coordination, and overall fleet readiness, Chris ensures our equipment and vehicles remain safe, reliable, and mission-ready.
His ability to make independent decisions, maintain high standards, and support his team with a positive attitude has made a direct impact on the success of Public Works. Behind every successful operation is equipment that works when it needs to, and Chris plays a critical role in making that happen.
