Selfie Sign

The City of St. Robert invites the community to attend the official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest attraction, the Route 66 Selfie Sign, located at the St. Robert Neon Park.

The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., and is open to the public. Residents, visitors, and community partners are encouraged to come out and be part of this special occasion.

This new addition to the Neon Park was made possible through a generous grant from the Missouri Route 66 Commission. The funding allowed the City of St. Robert to purchase the selfie sign, further enhancing the community’s connection to historic Route 66 and expanding the Neon Park experience.

The event will officially dedicate the selfie sign as part of the St. Robert Neon Park and celebrate the continued efforts to preserve and promote Route 66 within the community.

Special guests will include representatives from the Missouri Route 66 Commission, Luge Hardman and Jax Welborn, and Bob Gehl, Team Advisor for the Neon Heritage Preservation Committee, part of the Route 66 Association of Missouri. Our special guest will attend the ceremony, making this a unique opportunity to recognize the broader efforts to preserve the history and legacy of Route 66.

The City of St. Robert looks forward to welcoming the community to this event as we continue to invest in attractions that celebrate our history and bring people together.
