The City of St. Robert proudly celebrated the official dedication and ribbon cutting of the new Route 66 Selfie Sign at the St. Robert Neon Park.
This exciting new attraction was made possible through a grant from the Missouri Route 66 Commission and now stands as a permanent feature within the Neon Park. The sign adds another unique element to the park while celebrating St. Robert’s strong connection to historic Route 66.
The dedication ceremony brought together city leaders, staff, aldermen, business leaders, community partners, and residents for a memorable morning recognizing another milestone for the community.
The City was honored to welcome Bob Gehl, Team Advisor for the Neon Heritage Preservation Committee of the Route 66 Association of Missouri, as a special guest for the event. The City also appreciates the attendance and support of Missouri Route 66 Commission members Jax Wellborn and Luge Hardman.
The Route 66 Selfie Sign offers residents and visitors a fun new photo opportunity while helping preserve and promote the spirit of America’s most famous highway.
The City of St. Robert extends sincere thanks to everyone who attended the ceremony and supported this project. Residents and visitors are encouraged to stop by the Neon Park, enjoy the new sign, and experience another great attraction in St. Robert.
