The City of St. Robert is pleased to share that the newly extended westbound I-44 on-ramp from Business Loop 44 at Exit 159 is now open to traffic.

The ramp was closed in April as part of the Missouri Department of Transportation's Interstate 44 widening project. During the closure, contractors with Emery Sapp & Sons extended the length of the on-ramp to improve safety and drivability along the I-44 corridor through Pulaski County.

While the reopening of the ramp marks an important milestone, construction on the overall project continues. The addition of climbing lanes along I-44 remains underway, and motorists should continue to expect changing traffic patterns as work progresses through the fall of 2026.
