The City of St. Robert would like to make residents and motorists aware of an upcoming traffic change associated with the Missouri Department of Transportation's Interstate 44 widening project in Pulaski County.

Beginning at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, an around-the-clock lane closure will be in place on eastbound Interstate 44 between Exit 159 and Mile Marker 157.2 in the St. Robert and Waynesville area.

The lane closure is expected to remain in place through early to mid-August. During construction, either the right or left eastbound lane may be closed as crews continue work to improve safety and drivability along the I-44 corridor.

Motorists are encouraged to slow down, remain alert for changing traffic patterns, and allow additional travel time when traveling through the work zone.

This project is part of MoDOT's ongoing effort to widen Interstate 44 and improve traffic flow and safety throughout Pulaski County. Construction is expected to continue through the fall of 2026.
