The St. Robert Fire & Rescue Department has announced that burn permits will not be issued for the Cities of St. Robert and Waynesville until further notice due to current extreme weather conditions.

The temporary restriction is being implemented as a public safety measure to help reduce the risk of fires during conditions that could allow a fire to spread quickly or become difficult to control.

Residents of both communities who would normally request a burn permit should be aware that no burn permits will be issued while the restriction remains in effect.

St. Robert Fire & Rescue will continue to monitor conditions and will provide additional information when the restriction can safely be lifted.

Residents are asked to take the current conditions seriously and use extra caution with any activity that could potentially start a fire.

The City of St. Robert appreciates everyone's cooperation in helping protect our residents, property, firefighters, and surrounding community.

This restriction will remain in effect until further notice.
