The votes are in, and the residents of St. Robert have helped select this year’s Halloween Trick-or-Treat hours!

Following a community poll conducted by Mayor Breckinridge, the City of St. Robert has officially set Trick-or-Treat hours for Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Residents were invited to choose from several options for this year’s hours, with 62 percent of those participating selecting 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, the four-hour window gives families a little more flexibility to enjoy the evening. Younger children and families who prefer to head out earlier can get started at 5:00 p.m., while those who prefer traditional nighttime Trick-or-Treating will have plenty of time after sunset.

The City encourages everyone participating to make safety a priority. Motorists should use extra caution throughout our neighborhoods, watch for children crossing streets, and reduce their speed in areas with increased pedestrian activity. Parents and guardians are encouraged to accompany younger children and make sure costumes, masks, and accessories allow children to see and be seen.

Residents who plan to hand out candy are encouraged to turn on their porch or exterior lights as a welcoming signal to Trick-or-Treaters.
